With a background in art direction and visual design, I evolved as a hybrid designer with a solid foundation in brand, design strategy, UI design, and UX design. I believe the lines between brand, form, and function have merged, and customers expect a singular brand experience. I have a thorough understanding of design, product, and development processes and am guided by ideas that align with user needs, product and technical requirements, and business goals.
Most importantly, I am a design advocate—energetic, passionate, and optimistic about the role that design plays in the relationship between consumer and brand. I am enthusiastic about building, mentoring, and managing design teams, and play extremely well with teammates from executive, marketing, product, and engineering disciplines.

FloSports is an innovative sports media and live events company that takes fragmented sports communities and gives them a platform to connect with the sports they love. As the VP of Design, I was responsible for product design of all digital products including platform websites, native apps, Apple TV and Roku apps, live action scoreboards, in-stream event GFX, and live event marketing creative.
Andy Roddick Foundation, Leadership Council (Volunteer)
The average student spends 80% of their waking hours outside the classroom. These are the hours when students are at risk of losing academic skills, being a victim of violent crime, gaining weight by not being physically active, and engaging in risky behaviors. The Andy Roddick Foundation works to transform this time into opportunity through high quality out-of-school time programs. The programs have a positive, lasting effect on students by keeping them safe, engaged, and active.
HomeAway, Product Design Lead
HomeAway is the world's largest vacation rental marketplace. As the Product Design Lead for the Supplier side of the business, I was responsible for the design of a suite of products that enable our Suppliers to successfully run their vacation rental businesses more efficiently and maximize rental occupancy.

As a Principal Designer in the Experience Design Group, I was responsible for design direction on next-generation programs that span the Web and consumer software products, mentoring and energizing the design team, and elevating the level of design work across the studio.
Dialog Studio, Founder and Design Director
As a Design Director for a small design consultancy, I was involved in all aspects of the business. I helped identify and support business development activities and acted as the primary client contact for all creative work. I helped define and managed budgets, created project schedules, and allocated resources. I also managed and mentored a super talented design team and external development partners, and ensured the quality of work exceeded client expectations.

frog design, Sr. Designer
frog design is a global product strategy and design firm. As a Sr. Designer, I was almost exclusively placed on high-profile client engagements for projects that spanned large websites and consumer applications for desktop, mobile, and television experiences. I contributed early in the business development process and would lead visual design related activities on newly awarded client work.
Notable Achievement: I was fortunate enough to be part of the small team that invented the first card-based user-interface on a mobile device. This UI was awarded a patent by the USPTO in 2009. Check it out.
